Patient Declaration of Values

In 2010 the Province of Ontario introduced the Excellent Care for All Act (ECFAA) which requires all hospitals to have a publically available Patient Declaration of Values.

To make sure the values reflect those of our patients, we asked the public for input into the wording of the Declaration. Your feedback combined with that of others, has resulted in a Patient Declaration of Values that strengthens the focus and accountability of Cornwall Community Hospital.

The final version of the Patient Declaration of Values can be found below. We appreciate your input and participation.

Sincerely,

Jeanette Despatie
Chief Executive Officer
