Inpatient Surgery Unit

The Inpatient Surgery Unit at Cornwall Community Hospital, located on level 2 of the Janet Macdonell Pavilion, is a 25-bed inpatient unit for patients who require a stay after a surgery as part of their recovery. The lengths of stay vary depending on the type of surgery.

Care is provided to patients by a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including nurses, physicians, personal support workers, respiratory therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, dietitians, and pharmacists.
