Cornwall Hospital is the region’s only schedule one psychiatric facility, providing a full range of mental health and addiction services, from acute inpatient care in its modern 16-bed unit, to innovative outpatient and community programs in its recently constructed Community Addiction and Mental Health Centre.

How to get connected with ADULT Community Addiction and Mental Health Services at cch: 

AccessMHA is a service that provides a single point of entry to Eastern Ontario’s system of care for adult (16+ years old) mental health and addictions services. Cornwall Hospital's Community Addiction and Mental Health Services are available through AccessMHA.

For access to addiction and mental health services, please:

  1. Fill out a form at AccessMHA.ca or call 1-833-527-8207
  2. A mental health and addictions professional will work with you to assess your needs and connect you to the right services within our health care network.

HOW TO GET CONNECTED WITH CHILD AND YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION SERVICES:

You can get connected with child and youth mental health and addiction services near you, including Cornwall Hospital's Child and Youth Mental Health Services Team, by visiting www.1call1click.ca. 1call1click is similar to AccessMHA but is intended for child and youth services. To get started:

  2. A mental health and addictions professional will work with you to assess your needs and connect you to the right services within our health care network.

new program for 2023: one stop talk

One Stop Talk offers children, youth (within 18 years of age) and their families immediate access to free mental health support. The program provides single session counselling support and ensures direct referral to additional service when needed. Services are provided through an integrated network of infant, child and youth mental health agencies across Ontario. You will not lose your position on our waitlist by using this program.

Are you experiencing a mental health crisis?

If your substance use/addiction or mental health needs are a medical emergency, or if there is a concern you might hurt yourself or someone else, contact 9-1-1, or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.

community withdrawal management services:

For safe and supportive client-centered community withdrawal management services, Cornwall Community Hospital's Community Withdrawal Management Program is here to help at 613-938-8506. These services are for people aged 16 or older needing assistance with withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs.
